LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER
For Adacel Technologies Estonia
We are looking for Lead Software Engineer to join Adacel Technologies Estonian remote tower team. We are developing world-class novel technologies for remote air traffic control integrating radars, cameras, radio comms into AI enabled surveillance system of airports.
Your main responsibilities
- Leading a section of the technical team in completing tasks within an assigned project
- Defining solutions, managing resource planning and ensuring the on-time delivery of high-quality engineering and technical solutions
- Assisting the Head of Engineering in managing internal processes of the technical team
- Improving the architecture and developing software components himself/herself
- Validating the results of the development work
- Taking part in related discussions, research, and/or decisions in-house and with the client.
As a successful candidate you must have:
- Higher education in computer science or engineering
- At least 3 years of practical work experience in software development
- Experience in leading small software development teams
- Good programming skills, preferably knowledge of functional languages
- Knowledge of UML, Linux, SQL and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work with team and partners in multiple geographical locations, both in English and Estonian language.
