NETWORK ENGINEER
For Adacel Technologies Estonia
We are looking for Network Engineer to join Adacel Technologies Estonian remote tower team. We are developing world-class novel technologies for remote air traffic control integrating radars, cameras, radio comms into AI enabled surveillance system of airports.
Your main responsibilities
- Translating system solutions into networking solutions
- Designing and implementing new network solutions
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment, also maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary
- Working with technicians and deployment and hardware engineers to deliver the solutions
- Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with installation
- Providing analysis and debugging for system errors and faults
- Contributing to the improvement of cybersecurity aspects of the system
- Managing networking hardware lifecycle – research, test and qualify of new products.
As a successful candidate you must have:
- • Higher education in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
- 3 years of experience working as a Technician or Systems Administrator in IT
- Strong knowledge of building networks for multicast systems
- Good knowledge of network connectivity, network security, LAN and WAN networks
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office 365
- Networking and cyber security related certifications
- Possibility to travel and to work with team and partners in multiple geographical locations, both in English and Estonian language.
